Dataengine Administration: Roles & Permissions
Introduction
Role & Permissions enable administrators to assign pre-made permissions roles to users in order to support granular access control and adhere to the Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
For example, the "Enviro Eye Incident Reviewer" role provides access to incident related data, including cameras, sites, alerts, and media, while restricting access to features and data that are not required.
If pre-made roles do not meet specific organisational requirements, administrators can create custom roles using permissions available across Dataengine features and modules.
Creating a Role
To create a role, click the Create Role button and enter the required information, including:
Permissions, with a variety of available options ranging from API Key access to Permission Management
